Saint Nicolas is a tradition celebrated in many parts of Europe during the first week of December. While every country has its own special treat, the French have Saint Nicholas Gingerbread cookies.
Our Brioche Saint-Nicolas was born in a pâtisserie in Montpellier on Thanksgiving Day (27 November 2014).
We took him on a short tour of the town before taking him home. This is his story.
The place where I was born.
Cool, Christmas decorations
Here I am posing with French elves.
There is a giant globe they put up for the Christmas festival, you can see France.
The statue of the Three Graces is on the Place de la Comédie, ooh-la-la.
McDo, pttttui.
Lots of beautiful statues.
This is Chris and Jeannie’s door to their apartment building.
It’s nice and sunny today on their little balcony.
Due to it’s violent nature the story must end here. Suffice it to say that it ended deliciously.
