There are several enhanced options to make viewing images better. A slideshow option, the ability to view images in full-screen mode, and a toggle to turn captions on and off. Additionally, on new image galleries, the option to comment on individual images has been added. Some options may work better on some devices than others, please let me know if you experience difficulties.
When viewing the image grid, select an image to view larger.
The image now fills the window.
But if you click the small up-arrow at the bottom-center of the window …
… the image ribbon will appear with additional options.
To the left of the image ribbon are three icons that allow for enhanced viewing options. The ribbon can be minimized at any time.
In some image galleries there is also the possibility of leaving comments on individual images. The comment section can also be removed at any time .
