   My brother and I were in Florence the summer of 1968 as teenagers. We were amazed at the beauty of the city although they had just experienced severe flooding because of high river waters. Many museums were closed at the time. Your pictures brought back memories of our visit. Thanks.

      In the Uffizi, yes; just no flash.
