A beam of light travels 149,600,000 km or 92,900,000 miles from the sun to the earth. However, in the last few hundred meters or feet, it may strike a man-made object whose sole purpose is to change it into a glowing, colorful, panel of celestial light. But not ending there, the light may continue further until it encounters a stone wall, or floor, or a massive stone column, or perhaps a chair or pew. Click on one of the images below and enjoy the dance of the light.
